Independence

Today I killed a spider that crept along the window above while I was washing dishes. My method? Take a dirty cup full of steaming hot water and drown the sucker. I decided I've finally reached the pinnacle of independence when I can kill my own creepy crawlers. (Although it is nicer when Chadley's home to do it for me...) ;)

I Am

November 21st:
Crazy the changes we make in one year. I look back to where I was at last year: extatic, but not yet whole. Though much is taken, much abides. Thank-you for taking him away. I never imagined I'd actully reach a point of thanking God for this. I'm grateful. I love you. I trust you. You are good.
